About Noah
My name is Noah Page, I am an artist, author and extreme sports athlete living in the Pacific Northwest. Powerful stories that interpret the human condition through fantastical lenses have always been an important part of my life. I first started to cultivate my own narratives through alternate media such as drawings and paintings from a young age. Over the course of my life, I have spent thousands of hours across numerous countries ebbing on the beginnings of stories with nothing but my sketchbook and a BIC pen. I finally began assigning actual words and sentences to the many characters and places held captive withing my sketchbook in 2019 on one of my many travels and have been writing books ever since.
Inspiration
I draw inspiration from across many facets of media, regardless of if it pertains directly to storytelling in the traditional sense. My literary influences include Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, C.S. Lewis, Brian Jacques, Robert Burns, Jack London, H.G. Wells, Tolkien and many more. Though my love of literature is boundless to be sure, it wasn't until after I ended my academic career that I fell in love with reading. Video games with excellent and profound stories are what drove me towards reading and writing as a medium. Thought provoking campaigns driven by artists from games such as Gears of War, Dead Space, Halo, Mass effect and even Treyarch Zombies (Pre black ops 4) Though I'm certain I'm one of the only people who actually pays attention to the extended lore in that franchise.
When I'm not Writing
When I am not in my office engaged with the unending pilgrimage of putting my thoughts on paper, I can usually be found somewhere with a board beneath my feet. Whether it be snowboarding, surfing, downhill longboarding or finding the best bowls to skate, I have always loved moving at high speeds with reckless abandon. Hoping that nature will let me live for one more day.
